A stripped down solo piano performance of Des Enfants Morts from Music For Film, Volume 3. A piece inspired initially by the death of a small girl in the North Island of NZ and then tragically the idea of a remix was motivated by the accidental death of a small boy, also in the North Island of NZ almost a year to the day later.
Featuring a 9ft Steinway grand piano on stage at the Nelson School of Music recorded in 24 bit with four Neumann microphones
